General Practice Training

Doctors who are planning a career in general practice must spend a year working in a surgery to complete their training. By the time they reach this stage they will have already been qualified for a number of years.

Whilst attached to the practice they will carry out surgeries and home visits and may sit in with our doctors.

Medical students, nurses and social workers in training may also visit the practice from time to time and sit in with doctors or accompany them on visits.

You will be asked prior to your consultation if you are happy with this arrangement.
